Christmas Day - Deserted Streets in Castlebar

We took a stroll around the town centre on the afternoon of 25th December and took some photos just before sunset. Christmas Day 2000 was a bright and sunny day and we got plenty of light and shade. The streets were practically deserted - everyone indoors enjoying their turkey and ham and plum pudding.
