Turlough House and the new National Museum building
As Turlough House appeared just before the First World War in 1913
It's difficult to get the exact same camera angle now due to the trees which have grown in the meantime. This shot does give some idea of the changes.
The new museum building will house the National Folk Life Collection.
The lake has been dry for at least the last 30 years until very recently when the lake was restored.
