Castlebar Photo Gallery - Muirsín's Castlebar Panorama

Back in May 2000 Muirsín Durcan undertook an epic climb in order to record Castlebar for posterity. Having defied gravity, vertigo and danger of melted wings, being so close to the sun, he took the photos and returned safely to the ground. The results of his death-defying climb were some fantastic photographs! We have reduced them in size here for quicker loading - the thumbnails are all less than 10kB. Click on any of the thumbnail photographs below for a bigger 40kB image. But the originals are still available at the link at the bottom of the page in all their bandwidth challenging glory and clarity! More to follow.
