Do people remember the queues to get into May's shop? She had a great selection for such a small shop and she knew everyone as well. It's a pity that the small sweet shops have vanished.Also thinking of Castle Street, Pat Lavelles was another compulsary stop on the way home.He always had an apple or two behind the desk and was a lovely gentleman.And remember the pictures of Dev and others, hanging on his walls.
