When home last I dismayed to see how run down Castle Street had become, and it was very sad to see the Cinema in such a state. I am sure like many I will have found memories of the Cinema, going to see films like Top Gun (1986) 17 years ago! Also May Leonards shop in Castle Street, it was always a joy to escape school and go and spend on the many different types of sweets she sold. She always provide a word of wisdom on each visit. God bless her soul.
