Believe me Butch, I knopw EVER room in the school building and most likely got a good few "wallops" with a leather in them as well. The original photo on the site site was taken from just in front of what then used to be the "Tachnical School" The large building in the left background is th CYMS hall.(yellow line in my inset photo) I was borne and reared in the house (red line) It's address is 5, Hillside Tce., Fermoy. The road in fron tis "Cork Road" just up from Mc Curtain St. My late father served in what then used to be "The National Bank" Fermoy until July 1961 when he was promoted to Manager in Balla.He served in Balla until his retirement in about 1976.
