Tthe first shop on Spencer St. after Smiths (now Robinsons) garage was The Nook, owned by the O'Connors, then there was Horkans, Julia Heneghans (Mc Dermotts), Lyons, Goldens, Pa Gavins (Shane Rodgers)and Hanleys on corner of Rock Square.
