I agree with what you say but I don't know why. However, it was lovely to listen to the choir at 11.15 mass today as they sang their hearts out with "Cry out and Shout". It reminded me of the days with Fr. Shannon and the juniors and seniors and all the practising in the parochial centre. Names that come to mind of the seniors are Jimmy O'Reilly, Seamus Chambers, Tommy Brett, Tom Mc Greal, Joe Keane, all of those have passed on now except Seamus Chambers, who was singing today as well as ever. The choir today reveived a terrific round of applause. Also at Mass I spotted Mick Mc Garry and Hugh O'Malley obviously back on home ground prioir to Christmas!
