The only time I can recall being in the monastery was to get the results of the inter and leaving certs. I think I was shown into the room immediately on the left inside the front door and there the news, good or bad, was delivered. On a couple of occassions I stopped to chat with Bro. Augustus. I don't remember being invited in much less been given something to eat. Clearly you were from an echelon I never reached!
