I was very sad when i passed the convent last sunday morning on my way back to collage when i seen that the place was gutted becasue of a fire, the qauestion is who set it??? "WE ALL KNOW" the young THUGS of Castlebar and what they got up-to in that convent buliding, how many times has the Castlebar gurads gone into that buliding and taken young nippers out becasue of under-age drinking WHCIH IS A HUGH PROBLEM IN CASTLEBAR, along with DRUGS!! It's not the guards fault, they can't bring all the children of Castlebar and lock them up in a cell and make sure they casue no harm to themself's and other people and there property.......!!!!! the question must me asked where are there PARENTS and who owns that buliding and why did they not but security on the building????? YOU CAN'T LEAVE A UN-LIVED HOUSE/SHOP/WHATEVER WITHOUT SECURITY ANYWHERE, NOT ONLY IN CASTLEBAR BUT "EVERYWHERE AROUND IRELAND" If you do, expect A FIRE SET....AND WINDOWS BROKEN..........UNDER-AGE DRINKING .....DRUGS.....AND YOUNG "NO HOPERS" LEARKING AROUND.
We have to get the people who set this fire...it's just not good enough.... DON'T LET OUR TOWN BECOME "A PROBLEM TOWN".
If you know something about this fire or seen anything please call the guards 094 22222, the people who set that fire will NEVER have a day's luck for burning down a holy buliding like the X-convent...the way i look at it is, just as well they took up the bodies that were in the grave's at the back of the convent, God only knows what they would do if they were still there, it's just not worth thinking about.
COME - ON// There are so many good members of the youth out there and are doing well for themself's don't let them get the name as been the "Thugs" of Castlebar.
