As far as I know, The Mall ends at the old Bank of Ireland and Spencer Street begins at Gavin's shop.
On the opposite side of the road as you travel up past the cinema, the houses along there are in Spencer Street, up to the last house, Dolan's. However, it's not so clear cut for the other side of the street. The houses past Robinson's garage (formerly Smith's), are listed as Station Road. Surely, both side of the street, should have the same name?
Perhaps Murrisk, you need to make contact with a former resident of that area to throw some light on this for us?? Then we can begin the onerous task of naming out the families, but we should lay down some ground rules first, like around what years are we talking about?
