The pub between Golden`s and Billy Bourke`s was called Rhattigans.( I was very popular in there on Sunday mornings when I was about four, along with my granda. A thrupenny bar of Fry`s choc. and a club orange for me.)
Beyond Smiths was Elliott`s, Scriney`s, Duane`s, Devers, Kiernan`s, McCormack`s, McDonnell`s ? ? not my kneck of the woods.
Between the cinema and the Courthouse was Fitzgerald`s ( Helen and Tom), McGrath`s (Tom), Mitchells (John, Marie, Helen ? ) Willie and Ethel Staunton
