Tommy Staunton was from my own vintage.He came from the Main Street and can only be described as a fighter as thats what he did from an early age with his ill health.Fight fight fight ,but it finally beat him .Like Jimmy Foy,Tommy Staunton had so much magic surrounding him and stories which will grow as the years go by.I cannot do Tommy justice here but only to say that he was very much a part of Castlebar.
