I was coming in from Kilkenny Cross today to town{the roundabout is almost complete at long last} and it struck me at how seriously changed that area which we call Moneen has become.New housing estates ,new factories ,new road indeed.The cottages are still there but I wonder how many of the old stock still live there.Does anyone remember the exploits of Powie Roach.?JDP and Tempus you would remember John Connoly RIP.That incident certainly rocked my innocence.All change ,for the good I hope.
