Yes Murrisk, I did not mean to upset anybody but I was just commenting on how much politics has changed. The times when elections were fought at ground level and personalities (some good some bad on all sides) were the issue. Before mass media before the wizards of PR. Every election was a dogfight and a spectacle. I suspect if you carried out an opinion poll in the 50's or 60's the percentage of "don't knows" or "undecided" would have been minimal.
I suppose it is a tetchy subject but surely you can look back and smile at the antics.
