Be japers I did a Milk Run (With bottles) in the late 1970's with Walter Barrett in his green Land Rover. Billy Bourke did a run too. The end of Milk Bottles came shortly after legislation (No doubt EU inspired) that all milk needed to be pasturised and homogenised and otherwise manipulated so that now today few of us can really remember what real fresh untampered milk tastes like - the sort that you have to shake to distribute the cream. (My tastebuds were awakened on a farm outside Glastonbury about 8 years ago!!) I remember the first cartons I saw too were from Ballina Daries and they were red and white.
