My goodbye to you Murrisk that was to me the image of gentleness,
And to the hillocky broken rocks that are on the side of the Reek
I like the …. and her walking up from the waters edge
And the music of the people when they were gathered.

And its when I arise in the morning I see far from me the Reek
My heart is frolicking and my temperament is durable;
The people here are not accustomed to me, they obstruct me and are not civil,
As if they were made from the grey-…. cut out of the country.

If I could stand within a hands reach of the bowl (hollow part of the mountain)
I would come home and make a visit.
…….. the sleeping place I had previously before the order,
I wouldn’t forsake the night Murrisk nor the pleasantness of the ocean.
