Recently while browsing a surname message board on Rootsweb I came on a message from a woman in Australia seeking info. on her ggg grandparents. She had been searching Australian sources for their marriage cert for the last 20years. I was able to tell her that her ggg gf was my gg granduncle born in Carnacon in 1815 and married to her ggg gm in Strokestown in 1840, the year before they set sail for a new life down under. This info together with a snap of the ggg gm as an old woman with a grandchild made her day.
