I have just been to Muirsin's site and seen the further demolition pictures - what saddens me most is the way that the statue of the BVM has been tossed on the grass. DOES ANYONE CARE ANYMORE? For me, this is yet another indicator of the decline in values of (Castlebar)society. I am not talking about religious values either, but rather a lack of respect for both the insitution and the town it served so loyally for such a long time....
