Frenchill Ballroom was demolished several years ago after falling into disrepair. My mother (originally from Errew) often went to dances there in the 60s and I remember going to a disco in the mid 80s some time before it closed. The Arcadia Ballroom still stands in Belcarra, not sure that this was as popular as other similar establishments - anyone from the board ever attend a dance there?
