The bishop in Kerry with the SIN reg plate and the Clare(?) car owned by a farmer EIE 10 - not sure if his name was McDonald or not. Discussion about how the system worked etc. Quite interesting as I always found it confusing. Anyhow there must be lots of good anecdotes about Mayo regplates - either the IZ series or the IS series. Of course we did have the guy who wanted the MO 666 number plate so badly that he made his own - photograph in the Connacht with the two cars comparing the real plate with the devilishly clever copy! (Of course the tax office people were assumed to have issued two plates with the same number initially - but no they didn't).
