A ship came from Valparaiso, In the harbour her sails were set. Her name brought to my mind The kingdom of the Sun, the land of victories "Come", she said, "on a long journey With me far from clouds and fog: On the slopes of the blue Andes Lies a wonderfull city, glittering like a jewel." The ship sailed away over the wide oceans Long ago with her mast like gold; Wrote her story on the dark night skies, High amongst the great stars.
