I remember Annie Mellor who lived in Rock Square, Castlebar, a very refined lady. She worked, if I am correct, in Langans footwear and drapery shop in Ellison Street. Shades of Michael Treacy, Tommy Duffy, Maggie McCarthy, Paddy Guthrie and so many others, God be good to them.
