Although i dont have any memories of the people that frequented that library.like the rest of you all seem to, I guess that the old library has to be on of my favourite places in Castlebar, I spent many happy days there both during holidays and on saturdays, and it certainly spoilt me now as I much prefer sitting down with a good book to watching a film or going out, there were however times when my mom regretted my learning to read at all as ever since i started reading properly i've managed to go through about 4 - 5 books a week on anything and everything
