I think her name was Alice O'Reilly, a sister of Berney's and an aunt of John Hanley's. She used to live in a flat over Nellie Hanley's little newspaper shop down from the Imperial Hotel. The entrance to the flat was on thr Rock Square side, beside Miss Durcan's hairdressing salon and I remember the very narrow stairs which led up to the living room.
