The old man who worked on the pothole repairs
was Johnny Coughlan who lived in 40 Mc Hale Road
Scriney,s horse was stabled in the rear of
his house further up on Mc Hale Road and was
grazed down in Mc Hale Park
Horse,cart and two men kept the
streets and roads around town in better nick
than they are kept now.
