The ring fort in question does still exist. It is behind a large wall that borders the Davitt college playing fields. It is almost directly behind the old convent buildings, and some of the trees of said fort should be visible above the wall to the side of the davitt college playing fields. As kids playing there we always suspected there was a relationship between this fort, the one if Fortfield and the one in the grounds of Davitt House. They were all very close together for this type of fort.
