Johnny Mee is still going strong. Also I'd like to nominate Maire Farrell, Martin Waters, Pat Staunton, John Mulligan, Paddy Curran and his team, Paddy Gannon, and all the many who volunteer on a regular basis - there are lots and lots on school committees, community support organisations - St. V de P, Lions, Rotary, Meals on Wheels, Women's Refuge, Travellers' Support, Immigrants support, Scouts, various Health and Hospital Support groups and last but not least sports and arts groups especially those that cater for young age-groups. The town is still vibrant. Any more names? A mention now is worth a million posthumously :)
