I think you are right which means there was a snow storm in Dublin 399 years ago. Does anyone know of an older storm?
Funny to think that we are as far removed in time from Hugh O'Donnell as he was from the Dermot MacMurrough, Strongbow
and the Norman invasion. One of Dermot's enemys was O'Rourke of Breifne. O'Rourke's wife, Dervorgilla, eloped with Dermot.
He was 42 years and she was 44 years old. Must have been quite a woman!
