Do you check for the FairTrade label on goods you buy in the supermarket - such as Coffee and Tea? Fairtrade has a wider net than just that cup of tea or coffee.

A meeting for anyone interested in FAIRTRADE in Castlebar will take place on Monday 8th November next at 8 pm upstairs in the Atlantis Fairtrade Shop (next to The Music Store), New Antrim Street.

Fairtrade is about better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in the developing world. Castlebar is recognised as a Fairtrade Town and great work has been done over the years. We are inviting you to come along to a meeting so that we can hear your ideas on how to progress Fairtrade further in Castlebar. We are particularly looking for new members to get involved with the group. If anyone has any query, you can get in touch with Thérèse Ruane at 086 3483414 or Aldo Jordan at 086 3750250 . Faílte roimh chách.
