A short comedy film about one day in the life of a Dublin barman. Dave, a beleaguered Dublin barman, waits on an important phonecall.
No Messages is a slice-of-life short comedy following Dave, a beleaguered Irish barman, over the course of one long day. As he waits for an important phonecall Dave has to put up with advice from his hungover boss and the pub's irritating regular as well as dealing with the nagging suspicion that he has no idea where the hell his life is going. But sometimes when you're drifting aimlessly, that much-needed kick up the arse can come when you least expect it.

- 24 May 2013 - No Messages is screening this weekend at The Fastnet Short Film Festival in Schull, Co. Cork.
- 15 April 2013 - On Saturday night our brilliant cast were awarded the 'Best Acting Award' at LIT Film Festival in Limerick.
- 4 March 2013 - No Messages has won Best Short Film at the Canada International Film Festival!
- 19 February 2013 - We received word this morning that No Messages has been selected for the Belfast Film Festival
- 11 February 2013 - If you're in Berlin this week don't forget that No Messages is screening at the Berlin Independent Film Festival on Wed 13th at 7.30pm in the Babylon Theatre.
- 3 December 2012 - No Messages screens next Saturday (8th Dec) in the Lovinger Theatre, New York - one of only two Irish films showing at the Bronx International Film Festival.
- 13 November 2012 - The next screening of No Messages is this Thursday (15th) at 2.00pm in the Cork Opera House. We're closing out the first programme of Irish shorts at the Cork Film Festival. (There is muscle, grit and guile in the taut forms of the shorts at this year's Corona Cork Film Festival, writes DONALD CLARKE in the Irish Times)
