Over the next number of months we aim to give you some pointers in order to assist you to develop an internet presence.

This month we feature web design.
Here are some guidelines towards the selection of a web designer.
Examine their own website

01. Is it loud and flashy and therefore annoying after the first visit?
02. Do they use graphics correctly?
03. Is it easy to navigate?
04. Is the spelling and grammar correct?
05. Do all the links work?
06. How long does it take to download?
Bear all these in mind and how they would affect your own site.
Does the sales person keep referring to the technical person? Speak to them instead.
Ask for a written proposal for the website they wish to design for you.

Get rid of your used inkjet cartridges by leaving them into the Chamber Office where there is a collection bin on behalf of St. Joseph's Secondary School. If we collect 2000 the school gets a free computer. A collection bin is also available in Shaney Mac's Main St.
