Would like to see more history & old photographs of the area, as both my parents were born & raised there.

Keep a check on the Nostalgia Board. You should also add your details to the Seeking Notices there could be some people there who knew your parents in the old days. Don't be afraid to contribute to the Bulletin Boards. Castlebar is the Friendly Town with the Friendly Bulletin Boards
