Recently, several of our enthuastic juniors headed to Sligo for the annual Sligo Open. These included; Kevin Keena, Jennifer Coleman, Aoibhinn Killeen, Cathal Lavelle and Mark Jennings. The competition was run on a round robin basis, with everybody getting several games in each category. There was a good standard of babminton played by all, however on this occasion we were not successful in bringing home the silverware. This was the first competition of the season, so we have still lots of time to see great things from these young players.
