Credit Union Quiz 2015

On Friday, January 30th, 2015 the Breaffy N.S. Senior Credit Union Quiz Team won the Castlebar area quiz. We won with a score of 63 out of a possible 72. The quiz was in the T.F. hotel in Castlebar. We are all really looking forward to the next round, The Mayo Final, which will be held in Ballina towards the end of February. Hopefully we will get to the final in Dublin!

Credit Union Quiz 2014

The National School Quiz took place Friday night 31st of January 2014 in Davitt College. Over 30 teams took part from 16 local National Schools. We had two teams from Breaffy N.S. Our U11 team won their quiz and they went on to the next round the Chapter Level of the Credit Union Schools Quiz which took place in Knockranny house hotel on Saturday 1st March 2014.

Credit Union Quiz 2013

March 2013 Update!

Congratulations to our U11 quiz Team who won 1st place in the U11 section ogf the Chapter Level School Quiz in Ballina. This team now go on to the National Finals in the RDS in Dublin on April 7th. The team members are Matthew, Darragh, Cathal and Ethan. They, along with their coach, Mrs. O' Shea , are working hard to prepare for the finals. We all wish them the best of luck in the final.

Credit Union Quiz 2011

On Friday, February 4th, Castlebar Credit Union held their annual Primary Schools' Quiz. We had a Junior and a Senior team representing our school. Well done to all the children involved and to their coach Mrs. O' Shea.
