Spanish Dancing

The pupils of Scoil Naomh Aingeal were very lucky this year to have the opportunity to learn Spanish dancing. A teacher from Spain, Elena, spent 3 months in our school during which she taught the pupils from 3rd to 6th class. Her subjects were Language and Dance. The dances taught included the well-known Flamenco, the Tango and others. The girls thoroughly enjoyed the experience and some displayed great talent. A performance for parents was held in November, just before Elena returned to her school in Spain.
