It was the night before Christmas and I was sleeping on the couch. It was 1'o clock and Santa was just coming to my house. The sleigh hit the roof and I woke up. I knew it was Santa so I hid behind the couch to wait. After a few minutes I heard someone coming down the chimney. I looked around the couch expecting to see Santa but instead of Santa I saw a tall thin man taking the presents! I watched as he stuffed everything into a sack. Then he threw the sack up the chimney and climbed up a rope. I ran to the chimney and climbed up after him. When I reached the top he saw the man jump onto some kind of big flying car. The man stuffed the sack into the back of the car. The man turned forgetting to close the door so I jumped in and the man turned and closed the door after him somehow not seeing him. I climbed into the sack and waited.

After an hour or so later I heard someone lifting the sack. It just came to Me that if these people were stealing the presents they would probably be destroying them. So I looked for a hole in the sack but he couldn’t find one so he started opening presents trying to find something sharp. At last I found something sharp. I couldn’t see what it was but it was good enough. I cut a small hole in the sack just big enough for me to fit through. I looked out of the hole and saw that I was in some kind of factory. I knew where I was; I was in Santa’s toyshop.

I waited until there was a corner and then I jumped out. I ran around the corner and stopped. I looked around and saw that he was in the main hall of the factory. I saw a big toy-making machine. I was expecting to see elves but instead I saw robots. And these weren’t just any ordinary robots these had guns at their sides. I thought to myself if I try to blend in with the robots they mightn’t notice I walked up like a robot would. I looked at the robots to see what they were doing. They seemed to up to be picking up real toys and throwing them into another machine that was destroying them and then replaced them with fake ones from a box beside me. I didn’t want to destroy the toys but for now I would have to. Just then I thought of an idea - I took out the real toys and put them in the box and threw the fake ones in the other machine and then the robot beside me would take out the real toy and put it in the machine but I couldn’t see where the toy went after but I would say that it went into big sack. I knew I couldn’t stay here forever so I decided to try and steal the gun off one of the robots beside me. I knew the gun wouldn’t kill anyone but it would stun someone for a few minutes. There were five robots around me two guards and three workers. I quietly took the gun off the robot beside me and ran behind a box. I aimed it at a guard and fired instantly. The guard fell down with a clink! The other robots looked up I shot all the others and then stood up.

I knew what I had to do - find Santa. I knew that he and the elves would be locked up in the bottom of the factory and sure enough there were some stairs to my right. I ran down it as fast as I could. When I came to the bottom I found myself in a big room and in the middle I saw some cages. I ran over and saw Santa and his elves! Hello Santa I said. Santa looked very surprised and said who are you. Theres no time I replied. I shot the lock and opened the door. They all ran out.

Santa asked me how I got down here with all the robots around seeming to forget that I had the gun. I showed him the gun. He asked me were there any robots in the main hall. I said no. He told his elves to go up and reprogram the machine. I gave them the gun and said just incase. What are we going to do I asked. Our only chance is to plug out the machine that’s attached all the robots and then look for the person behind all this. Santa’s elves went up to the main hall to get started while Santa and I took the elevator. We reached the fifth floor where the Santa’s office was. The plug is on the other side of the room but there are to many robots Santa told me. Don’t worry I have an idea I told him. If we act like robots they won’t notice I said. We walked across the room like robots and when we reached the plug and pulled it out.

Suddenly all the robots bnt down and fell on the ground. We ran over to the office and charged through the door. There was the tall thin man talking to his side kick. Then he noticed us and called for his robots. When he realised we had plugged them out. There was a shock of horror on his face. He sneered and said luckily I have a back up plan. He jumped out the window and his side kick dived after him. I ran to the window but Santa said to let him go because there was a lot of work to be done.

And suddenly I woke up. It must have been a dream but a very realistic one I muttered to myself.
