Fionnuala and Annie make Big Waves at Annual Club Gala.
Castlebar Swimming Club hosted their Annual Invitation Gala, which was sponsored by permanent tsb on Sunday 21st March 2004.
The gala attracted a huge entry from all the top clubs in Connacht including Athlone, Ballina, Claremorris, Galway, Longford, Roscommon, Shark, Tuam and Westport.
PERFORMANCES OF THE DAY must go to Fionnuala Quinn who came from behind and won her U 14 Breaststroke event making a Division 1 time and Annie McCormack with a an excellent personal best time to win gold in U12 100m Freestyle.

Gold for Relay Teams.
The Girls U 16 relay team of Elenor Grier-Gavin, Sarah Caulfield, Laura Keaveney and Aisling Bourke took gold in the 4x50m Freestyle and the Senior boys relay team of Colm Garrick, Jimmy Wiseman, Darragh Quinn and Brian Moran also took gold in the 4x50m Freestyle.
