A celebration in song of the life of Pope John Paul II
The Castlebar Gospel Choir and Cantoraí Umhaill are combining their talents next week to pay tribute in song to the late Pope John Paul II in aid of the homeless.

They will present a unique evening of songs and reflections on the life of one of the Icons of the 20th Century who choose County Mayo as the Goal of one of his first of his many trips outside of the Vatican when he visited Knock Shrine in 1979.
‘Totus Tuus’ will offer people to participate in a tribute, which will be reflective and uplifting as was the life and ministry of John Paul.
It will take place in the GMIT, Castlebar on Tuesday evening, 26th of April, commencing 8pm.
Tickets will be on sale at the door or from Downtown records, Castlebar (€10/€5unwaged)
