Over 260 played over the weekend in Jimmy Walsh's Captains Day qualifying round.102 made it through to next Sundays final which will be played over 18 holes.

The surprise leader is PAT MOYLETTE who scored a net 66 followed closely on 67 by KIERON HORKAN.

1 shot futher back are JIM BRODERICK and MICHAEL MC GING.Sitting dangerously on 69 are DECLAN PRENDERGAST,JOE LANGAN MICHAEL FAHEY ,HENRY GAVIN,FRANK MC DONALD,GER STAUNTON and PARAIC CONNOLLY.

Also very much in contention on 70 are RAY PRENDERGAST BCARNEY,PAT PRENDERGAST,IAN BRENNAN.MICK BYRNE, JOHN MC HALE AND JOHAN COLLINS with a further 14 players tied on 71 any of whom can win with a good score on Sunday.The cut off point was 76 and these players will tee off at 8am with the leaders due out at 1.30.
