‘Go Slow’ Protest rally to mobilise action on bad roads.

A “Go slow protest rally” on Ballina is to take place on Monday next to highlight the inadequate roads infrastructure in the area and in North Mayo generally. The protest is being organised by the Western Roads Action Committee (WRAC) and has the backing of Mayo Chamber of Commerce. It will involve hauliers, hackneys, bus owners and private motorists. The protest will assemble at Moneen Roundabout, Castlebar, at 12:30pm, heading to Bohola N5 Junction and arriving at Costcutters Ballina at 2:30 pm on Monday.
