Castlebar College of Further Education Launch Website

Mr Frank Chambers, Chairman of Co Mayo VEC, did the magic "click" and launched Castlebar College of Further Education's Website at the College on Tuesday, 29 May 2001.  Mr Chambers wished CCFE well with their new site and complimented Ms Colette Campbell, a member of the teaching staff at the College, who was responsible for designing the site.  Ms Sara kelly, Director of CCFE, also paid tribute to Colette for her hard work in designing the website.

www.ccfe.ie  is an informational website designed to give the user a good understanding of the different courses on offer and of the different happenings at the college.  The "students" section of the site gives photos and articles put together by students and staff at the college.

Castlebar College of Further Education provides Post Leaving Certificate courses in many different areas including Business Studies, Childcare, eBusiness, Computer Programming and Nursing Studies.  All of theses courses are of 1 year duration and include a period of work experience.  The college is bridging a gap that exists in the education sector for students who want to gain practical skills that are in demand in the workplace, in a relatively short period of time.
