This April, the TF Royal Theatre has 2 of the world’s finest jazz musicians in concert. On Thursday 27th April join CURTIS STIGERS on vocals/sax, Matthew Fries on piano, Phil Palombi on bass & Keith Hall on drums, and Bank Holiday Sunday night 30th April join KENNY BALL and his Jazzmen – 2 exceptional nights!

Curtis Stigers appearing at the TF, Castlebar
Curtis Stigers shot to international fame with hits ‘I wonder why’ and ‘You’re all that matters to me’, and in recent years, has established himself at the forefront of a new generation of jazz singers. With one of the most distinctive voices in music, the singer/saxophonist/songwriter pushes the boundaries of conventional jazz performers and expands the jazz repertory creating modern jazz standards.

And the Man with the Golden trumpet, Kenny Ball, will delight audiences with his Jazzmen on his Farewell Tour with over two and a half hours of Dixieland Jazz presented in a fun-loving manner that has made Kenny Ball a giant of the music industry. His style of music and 15 hit records has made him the most successful and longest lasting chart success of any jazz group in the World, including his first chart success ‘Samantha’ and his last chart success ‘When I’m 64’.

Despite this, Kenny Ball will always be associated with ‘Midnight in Moscow’ – the record that catapulted him to International fame followed by ‘March of the Siamese Children’ and ‘Sukiyaki’. Since then, he has been making headlines the world over.
