Bands at the Castlebar Blues Festival 2001

It's hard work but someone's got to do it! From Linenhall to Main Street to Castle Street to The Mall we hawked our camera from pub to pub never even stopping for a drink (believe it if you want!) in order to bring you these photos before the pubs closed!

The Winchesters in the Bungalow - fantastic music - jammers altogether the crowds come back year after year to see the Winchesters in action!

The Winchesters offer a little more besides music - great comedians and a great show - don't miss these guys!

Even if you're not old enough to remember Rory Gallagher this tribute band in The Irish House will give you an idea of what the great man sounded like.

Rollo Markee and the Tailshakers are in The Humbert - a bit of a scrush to get in but well worth it. Bumped into JJ the famous website cartoonist here.

These gals in the Humbert are the Hens on Tour - according to their T-Shirts at least!

The Robin Sunflower Band were in Stalkys - really liked their modern blues style.

The Irish House also jammed to the gills to hear the Rory Gallagher Tribute Band

Main Street was getting a bit shaky by now

Parkers Alibi in the Castle Inn another excellent band - terrific line-up this year with all but two of the bands new.
