The Market Square in Castlebar is changing. The UDC are rearranging the layout, installing new pedestrian areas and art works. In addition some familiar buildings along the top of the square are due to be demolished very shortly. These photos were taken on 2 May 2001 when just the shells remained.

Now you see them.... The Beanstalk, The Motor Store, Cobblers, Paul Byrons....
