| Congratulations to Stephen Moran of Lavallinree, Parke, Castlebar, a Transition Year student at Davitt College, Castlebar, who has been identified as a student of high Mathematical ability due to his excellent performance in the Junior Certificate, Higher Level Mathematics Examination 2001. Stephen has been invited to attend a training programme at NUI Galway, which is designed to stimulate mathematically talented students, with the opportunity to be selected to represent Ireland at the prestigious International.Mathematical Olympiad.
