I believe Dr. Gilmartin was born in Rinshinna, Castlebar, about a quarter of a mile past Roadstone quarries. He has a number of relatives still living in Castlebar. He had a sister, Mrs. Mullaghy, Main Street, who died about forty years ago. Check 'Fagans Gate,' by Tom Higgins, for further information. Copies are available in the Connaught Telegraph.
