I remember the Plucks when they lived in Newantrim St, between Sadie Lawless's shop and Brownes. The father's name was Bernie and he was a psychiatric nurse(chief nurse, I think). The family moved to St. Patrick's Avenue in the early fifties. Mary worked in Western Hats on the Newport Rd.and I believe she didn't marry, but she left a huge number of admirers behind her when the family moved to England!
