Surely the various ring forts would be the oldest . . .

As we've no cave drawings anywhere that I know of (unless you count the archway beside the Humbert) then surely the various ring forts would be the oldest structures in the town, after that I guess Barry's Castle up by Lough Lannagh and after that I guess we'd have to look at the military barracks site for the other castle that overlooked the town and was near a source of water.

Any other suggestions ?
