Oh but that brings back memories, I remember waking up as a recruit with a big black shiney face that took an age to scrub off, never did anyone else the same way but mighta done a few warpaint stripes on lads who'd one too many.

Remember a great incident where about twenty fellas carried a sleeping form in his bunk bed out into the middle of the barrack square - he never woke up - well at least until the nightly patrol came round.
